Norman is engaged in the corporate aspects of banking, in particular transactional work but he is also involved in non-transactional and other finance-related matters. 

Morton Fraser MacRoberts is on the panel of all the main lenders operating in the Scottish market and Norman plays a key role in managing these panel appointments. He also has experience in insolvency, commercial contracts and corporate finance.

Norman is ranked as a Leader in the Field for Banking & Finance in the 2024 edition of Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
