Bonar Mercer
PartnerBonar is a Partner in the Corporate team. He specialises in corporate law, focusing on transactional work including mergers & acquisitions and investments.
He advises clients including owner-managed businesses, corporate acquirers, investors, public sector bodies and has spent time on secondment with a FSTE100 energy company.
Bonar advises on transactions across numerous sectors of the economy, with particular experience in healthcare (including pharmacy and veterinary), financial services/insurance and energy.
Additionally, Bonar’s work contributed to the firm winning Corporate & Commercial Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2020 and being Highly Commended for M&A Team of the Year (Mid-Sized Deal) at the British Legal Awards 2019.
